PEOPLE GROUP
The PGs serve as the appointed groupings through which hands-on ministration of care to the body is affected and Spiritual Growth to Maturity is activated
LIFE GROUP
This is the agency through which saints are Connected, Integrated, Matured and Strengthened. (Where “real building “takes place)
The LiFE Groups concept envisages a body that instinctively functions to transfer life from joint to joint, sinew to sinew, muscle to muscle.
Ephesians 4:16 (NIV): the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
The groups are designed specifically to activate the Pastoral and Evangelistic dimensions of the Kingdom Community by strategically expanding the responsibility for the life of the ministry beyond the primary leadership and into the hands of the wider body.
Purpose of Life Groups
- To strengthen the Pastoral Dimension of the community by building effective relationships among members.
- To allow every member the opportunity to receive Personal Care and Attention from within the body so as to facilitate Integration, Growth and Establishment.
- To create an environment where Peer Ministry is valued and welcomed, and Peer Accountability is an active part of community life.
- To provide every member with the opportunity to take an active part in the life of the community and so build Commitment, Ownership and a greater sense of Belonging.
- To provide a platform upon which members’ unique talents, skills and abilities, including leadership, can be displayed and identified, thus mobilizing greater resources for the community.
- To become a primary place for the development of the Evangelistic Dimension of the KC through invitation, illumination and ministry to a diversity of people.
Purpose of People Groups
- To represent multiple Gateways of Kingdom Life and expression to the world system so that those of the Babylon system may find their way into the Kingdom
- To be the active and primary location within the KC where the saints actively move to Functional Maturity by consciously practicalizing the doctrine into lifestyle with their peers
